Short Description of trails: A long moderate road climb. Followed by a very long and fun descent on a variety of terrain. Begin about 2.3 miles from highway 410 by taking the left at a y intersection on road 1706. Go about a mile and turn right at the first intersection. At just over 3 miles make a left (this is still 1706). Make a moderate climb on the road and turn right onto road 1600. At Saddle Camp go left on the road which winds around to the summit rocks. Descend on your bike northeast on faint trails to the Saddle Camp area and trail 961. Drop down and cross scree, then climb up and descend a few times gaining a ridge. The trail stays near this ridge for a long time with great views. Eventually it ends up at the Halfway Flat Campground. From here go south along the Naches River passing several campgrounds. You will have to hike your bike up through a short wooded section. Turn right onto 1706 and make it back to where you began.
