Short Description of trails: The depicted route starts ascending up trail 1220 along Mission Creek until a junction is reached with the Mission Ridge trail at about 9 miles. Stay left on 1220 and traverse the hillside on smooth trail up to a parking lot and trailhead (about 12 miles). From the parking lot make a right onto FSR 9712 and climb it until you are at the Mission Ridge Trailhead 1201 and 5698ft. Take your mountain bike on this trail through sometimes rocky terrain and forest down to the intersection with trail 1220 again. From here go straight across, staying on the Mission Ridge trail. Switchback up steep hillsides and gain the Mission Ridge. Stay along the ridge sometimes going up and down for several miles. There can be nice views of the Enchantments on the horizon and down into the Devil's Gulch below and left. After leaving the ridge spine the trail becomes technical and faster. Take this down back to the start point.
